Greed (1)

I'm George Orwell. Now, I found that descendants of my species use echolocation. The process by which they acquired the "ability" was a result of exploitation and cheating; they just listened to a voice, and got the capacity by something like a spontsneous surge. And, they feel happy about the newly acquired communication channel. But, as a writer of the novel Nineteen eighty-four, I believe that it is imperative that they be advided to stop using the system; the sonar channel is much more suitable for other living things, and eventually it will harm and even davastate human civilizations.

First, much better users of the system do exist. Of course, many of them are benign. But, they do think, and their thoughts will be insinuated into the brain of humans. The problem is that some memic particles are "stupidity" itself; the more frequently theh employ the way, the less wise they'll become.

Second, their spontaneous system was gained by cheating; they just found a channel, whose unwanted owner wants to live based upon the traditional verbal communication vehicles - by email or phone. Even though they know that their stealth is hurting his personal lives and making him one of the poorest people in the region, they just open his personal memos or writings. The cheating satisties their greedy instinct, and gives them a false belief that they can manage or control him. It's like, when something unnatural happens, I can open his email, which means I'm superior to him. I just stole, and became someone better than a "supernatural" phenomenon. That way, some of the human populations are becoming increasingly hosts of persistent, agile memes and parasites of Jay - my super-engineer. He thinks that people are becoming slaves of memes, not the Big Brother. Their greed transforms thenselves into zombies, whose decision-making is derived from other thinking machines.
